God is truly great and is worthy of praise and our allegiance!

Countless great ideas have come from the minds of man, only to have them derailed due to circumstances beyond their control or because of the frailties of others.

Mankind has freewill and can therefore make a mess out of anything he touches. Beginning with the Garden of Eden, man has constantly disobeyed God because he places his fleshly desires over his soul (Romans 3:10- 18,23).

Ezekiel tells us plainly that man has freedom of choice to sin (Ezekiel 18:2-3).

Ezekiel says that if we walk by the Lord’s will, we will be found just (Ezekiel 18:9). On the other hand, “the soul who sins shall die” (Ezekiel 18:20, NKJV).

Jesus said:

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy

laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew

11:28).

We choose to sin, and we choose to walk by faith (Ephesians 4:1; Romans 12:1-2).

“Whoever commits sin also commits

lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness” (1 John

3:4).

When we examine the Old Testament, we see countless prophecies that required a lot of moving parts. In Genesis 12:1-3, God makes a land promise to Abram that runs like a thread throughout the remainder of Scripture.

We see precise prophecies of the Church, the kingdom, etc. and all of them happened exactly as God said (Deuteronomy 18:22).

God was able to make everything happen as he said despite billions of humans acting against him. Can we see how astounding that is?

God is truly great and is worthy of praise and our allegiance! Nothing is too hard for him (Jeremiah 32:17). Can’t we see that only God is worthy of our trust? (Hebrews 11:6).
