I work with children on a daily basis and teach them in Bible study.  If we study our Bibles and believe it to be an important part of our day, they will do this as well.  If they see us pray and hear us pray for them, they see it is important to us and learn immediately where their parent’s priorities are.  If on the other hand the secular world is more important, they will see this as more important and do likewise.  It all comes down to priorities.  Whatever we deem important is important to them as well.

“For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:  That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children.”   Psalm 78:5-6

A person bends more freely in youth.  And what is learned well in early life becomes ingrained and a part of one’s lasting being.  Today’s adults are yesterday’s children who were taught or not taught, and it shows in either case.”      ~ Leroy Brownlow
