America-a great country to live in
With lots of people from shore to shore;
Many who immigrated here
With a dream to live free forevermore

This country is a big country
That stretches from far and wide;
From east to west and north to south,
It should make our hearts swell with pride.

We want to celebrate this holiday
With many grand parades galore
With lots of floats and patriotic music
to make our spirits soar.

We celebrate with many delicious foods,
Like grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and BBQ, too.
But no matter what we have to eat,
It’s always fun to eat them on plates of red, white and blue.

The best thing about the Grand Ole Holiday
Is getting to eat some homemade ice cream
With some of mom’s fresh apple pie,
It’s like a big ole sweet dream.

It’s great to watch the fireworks show
As the night begins to fall
With the patriotic music and flashes in the sky
It has a lot to enthrall.
