Unwavering

And let us hold unwaveringly to the hope that we confess, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy. Hebrews 10.23

Everyone, at some point in time, will have their belief and their faith tested. You can be assured of this fact. The important thing is how you will react under the pressure.

Christians have a great priest. Jesus has made it possible for you to be clean. Your heart has been sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and your body was washed in pure water referring to baptism, Hebrews 10.21-22. God provided the plan for your freedom from sin through Jesus. God has done his part. Jesus has done what he was sent to do.

What remains is for you to be unwavering in your hope. God and Jesus are trustworthy. They will keep their promises. It is up to you to do all that you can to remain strong in your faith.

Seemingly, life sometimes seems to attack from all angles. The enemy will do everything in his power to see God’s people fall. Instead of becoming discouraged, think of ways to encourage each other to love and be involved in good works.

The Hebrews were told not to abandon their meetings, but to encourage each other to participate. You give and receive encouragement when the spiritual family is together. Instead of giving it little importance, place upon it the priority that it deserves. There is something good for the soul to be with like-minded people who have heaven as their goal.
