The Lord our God is always with us

Through thick and through thin,

Through the good times and the bad.

 

He helps us to win over sin.

He helps us deal with our problems

No matter how great or small.

He holds our hand and guides us,

especially when they overwhelm us all.

 

He wants us to keep fighting

With a strong will to live each day;

To never give up hope

And always turn to Him and pray.

 

He helps us deal with our grief

When we have lost a loved one dear

And the sadness threatens to overwhelm us

And fill our eyes with a tear.

 

But God will help us to endure

Until the end of our days

When we may go to Heaven

And look upon His gaze.
