We Are Not The Same
He came to live among us
An ordinary man
He soon became one of us
we learned to regard Him—
His humility, His sincerity, His love.
And He taught us to love
To look for the good in others
To overlook slights and prejudices
To forgive others as God forgives
And to love as He loved.
He was not long among us
But what He taught lives on
Our lives were touched
And we will ever be grateful
For we are not the same.
