In every blade of grass
Or leaf that shivers in the wind,
I feel the Lord move past,
And know He is my friend.
All good things come from above
And were formed by hands so strong,
Sent from a heart filled with love
Who would have us know no wrong.
Beyond belief and comprehension
His creation is so amazingly vast,
To wonder at His creative intention
Is to learn how great He is at last.
Bigger becomes his scope
As one perceives his creation
And views its magnitude of hope
As we long for His blissful nation.
If all of earths things are so great,
What will be the heavenly realm?
We must not decide too late
To choose to live endlessly with Him.
A life surrender in this world
Will great rewards eventually gain
When sin from us we’ve hurled
And we travel to our eternal plane.
None of earth’s things will last.
What in this life do we dare to grasp?
Nothing here could ever compare.
Nothings worth missing heaven so fair.
