BIRTHDAYS

Birthdays are fun for everyone
a chance to get together with those we love
to celebrate a happy time
and get some of the gifts we dream of.

We get to eat all of our favorite food
Especially lots of ice cream and cake.
With so many yummy flavors to choose from,
It will give us a stomachache.

No matter how old we are,
we feel such joy inside
to know that we are another year older.
It will make us misty-eyed.

We should thank the Lord for another year
That He has allowed us to be here.
And ask that He might grant us many more
To be with those we hold dear.
